NC Wills and Probate Records 1665-1998

Elizabeth Stancil (1755-1794) was not named in her father's will. It is most likely due to her preceding him in death. There is a female listed on the census records below but it is possible that her husband remarried after her death.

From Isham Blalock's I (1754-1830) marriage to Elizabeth Stancil (1755-1794) at least 3 children were born;

In 1776 their first child, Charles Millington Blalock (1776-1870) was born in North Carolina. He went on to marry Philadelphia Kelly (1785-1862) between 1805-1815. In April of 1870 Charles Millington Blalock (1776-1870) died in Excelsior, Sebastian Co., AK, USA. At the time of his death he was about 94 years old and is listed on the Federal Mortality schedule of 1870 as having died of old age. He was living with his son William Matthew Blalock (1824-1887) at the time. He was buried on his homestead next to his wife in what is today the Blaylock Family Cemetery in Excelsior, Sebastian Co., AK, USA.

About 1782 their second child, William David Blalock (1782-1860) was born in Chatham Co., NC, USA. He went on to marry his first cousin Lettitia Blalock (1792-1849) about 1808 in Haywood Co., NC, USA.
